Happy Monday from Front Range Shuttle!

By Tony Fleming-Brum - November 14, 2016

At the risk of sounding like a broken record, we are in for yet another week of unseasonably warm weather here in Colorado Springs (at least until Thursday)!

We start our week off with Monday evening (11/14) at Front Range BBQ, where they’ll be hosting their annual Fall Arts & Crafts Show! Join them in supporting the works of local artists and the local non-profit Junior Achievement. Live music will be provided by The High Mountain Duet, and you can enjoy free appetizers while you browse!

Tuesday morning/afternoon (11/15) you might enjoy a stop by the Cottonwood Center for the Arts to check out their 1000 Kinds of Life exhibit. The artists who are presenting were tasked with creating works relevant to their own cultural background and anthropological history, or which explores science, religion, and politics as statements on current American culture.
After an afternoon of appreciating fine art in town, why not drop by Yoga Mountain Shadows for a session of Cosmic Yoga? These are glow-in-the-dark Yoga classes (white or fluorescent clothes get the best results) that guarantee a good time in a unique and stimulating environment. Pick up some glow bracelets at the front desk on the way in and have a great time with some very fun people!

Wednesday morning (11/16) should be a fun day if you’re in town with your kids, as the Colorado Springs Pioneer Museum will be hosting a Children’s History Tour focusing on the life of a beaver! A fun, educational experience to be sure, and an opportunity to explore everything else the museum has to offer!
Wednesday evening, we head over to Stargazers Theatre, where they’ll be hosting The Rhythm Future Quartet! This band has a very straightforward agenda: to keep the spirit of Gypsy jazz alive in today’s musical universe. The quartet performs dynamic and lyrical arrangements of both Gypsy jazz standards and original compositions to make for a very fun, unique evening of music.

Predicted to be the coldest day of the week, Thursday morning (11/17) may be a good day to stay inside and warm! In the evening, however, The Mezzanine will be hosting the KCME Classical Music Showcase! Don’t miss the artistry of guitarist Colin McAllister and friends in an evening of inspiring music on guitar and strings!

And as always, don’t forget about Front Range Shuttle! From cozy SUV’s to 25 passenger buses, we have your airport transportation needs covered!
